Keeping SwishEmail safe for everyone.
SwishEmail is committed to providing a safe, secure, and respectful email service. Spam, phishing, malware, fraud, harassment, and other abusive activity are not allowed.
Our standard
Abuse of SwishEmail is not tolerated.
We investigate abuse reports and may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that misuse SwishEmail or create risk for users, third parties, our infrastructure, or email deliverability.
Report abuse
If you receive abusive, fraudulent, or harmful email from a SwishEmail address, contact us with the full message headers and a short description.
Policy
Prohibited activity.
SwishEmail must not be used for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or disruptive activity.
1. Prohibited Activities
You may not use SwishEmail to:
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or deceptive messages.
- Send phishing emails, scams, fraud, or impersonation attempts.
- Distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, viruses, or harmful code.
- Harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, defame, or intimidate others.
- Impersonate another person, company, service, or organisation.
- Send, store, or distribute illegal content.
- Violate intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights.
- Attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or networks.
- Operate bot accounts, abusive automation, or high-volume sending without permission.
- Interfere with, overload, scan, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt SwishEmail systems.
- Use SwishEmail in a way that harms our reputation, infrastructure, deliverability, or users.
2. Spam and Bulk Email
SwishEmail is not a platform for spam or unsolicited bulk messaging. Accounts used for abusive sending, list bombing, deceptive campaigns, or unauthorised bulk email may be restricted or terminated.
3. Phishing, Fraud, and Impersonation
You must not use SwishEmail to impersonate others, steal credentials, mislead recipients, operate scams, or create deceptive messages designed to obtain money, access, personal data, or sensitive information.
4. Malware and Harmful Content
SwishEmail must not be used to send, host, link to, or distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, exploit kits, harmful scripts, or other malicious content.
5. Harassment and Harmful Conduct
SwishEmail must not be used to harass, threaten, intimidate, abuse, stalk, dox, or target people or organisations.
6. Enforcement
If we believe an account is involved in abuse, we may take action to protect SwishEmail, our users, third parties, and the wider internet.
- Temporarily restrict sending or receiving.
- Suspend or terminate the account.
- Block messages, attachments, links, or sending patterns.
- Preserve relevant records where needed for investigation.
- Report severe abuse to infrastructure providers or legal authorities where appropriate.
7. Reporting Abuse
To report abuse involving SwishEmail, email: abuse@swish.email.
Please include as much of the following as possible:
- The full email headers.
- The sender address involved.
- The date and time of the message.
- A short description of the issue.
- Any relevant screenshots or evidence.
8. False or Incomplete Reports
We review reports carefully, but incomplete reports may be harder to investigate. Please do not submit false, misleading, or abusive reports.
9. Our Commitment
We take abuse reports seriously and investigate complaints to help protect users, recipients, infrastructure, and email deliverability.
